Local Cause helps Logan become Financially Independent

Learn how to become happy and financially secure

LOGAN, Utah --- Financial independence is achieved when one no longer has to rely solely on their earned income. Many people today are living their life paycheck to paycheck. This is the opposite of financial independence, this is financial bondage.

Financial independence allows you to not depend on your job to be happy; you will no longer feel like you have to go to work for a paycheck. You will be able to go to work because you actually want to.

Preston Parker, President of Cache Valley Area Investors Association, said “someone’s true wealth is how long they can live without their earned income.”

Some might ask how they would pay their bills if it was not for their paycheck. The answer is passive income. This is money earned from assets and investments; money that is earned while you sleep. Once one’s monthly expenses are less than their passive income they no longer have to rely on their daily job to pay the bills.

CVAIA is a local organization with a cause to give free financial guidance to the community. When asked why he founded this cause Parker said, “The main reasons I support this cause are first I was tired of people asking for financial advice and not taking it and second I was sick of people complaining about their jobs.”

The movement of financial independence has been around for decades. Founders of this cause such as Ayn Rand hoped to educate people about finances in effort to ease the burden brought on by money. Today this ideology is furthered by experts like Robert Kiyosaki and Suze Orman.

The local organization that supports this cause, CVAIA, holds meetings twice a month to educate anyone who wants to become financially independent. To become a member or to find out more information regarding this cause go to www.cvaia.com
